Laissez le bon temps rouler.

You must be wondering (or maybe not), what do all y'all CG kids do for fun between all the gutting and activism? Well, there's certainly fun to be had, and it's not hard to find. First, you need a ride. Here at CG, we ride in style. It is common practice to pack ten to fifteen volunteers in one car, so if you want to have fun, expect to be sitting on someone's lap or to be sat on. With a car and the right driver, the whole city is at your disposal. If worst comes to worst, you can take a cab. Sick of the food at CG? Head to Cafe Flora, hippie hangout and home to the pemesto bagel (a bagel with cream cheese, pesto, and tomato), or nearby Captain Sal's, a cheap joint serving up delicious, greasy batches of fried catfish, po'boys, and boiled crawfish. If you're looking to get intoxicated, as just about everyone here is come night, you can head to one of Bourbon Street's many bars. I don't drink, otherwise I could give you a detailed description of some Woxy kids' Sunday night adventure to Oz, the city's most famous gay bar. If you're in need of a beer but can't find a bar, don't stress; most laundromats come equipped with one. If music is your preferance, jazz clubs like The Spotted Cat provide you with acts such as The Jazz Vipers (who I've heard nothing but good things about, and who I hopefully will see soon.) You can always drop into a drag show as well; there's a place called Big Daddy's right across from Cafe Flora, where several of the Crescent City's drag beauties strut their stuff for free.

There's hard work to be done here, but there's plenty of fun to be had too.
